Love has many definitions and can be experienced in so many ways. The ways of self-love I preach are gratitude and forgiveness. Next, I will show you 7 different examples of how I loved myself in my trip to Geneva, last year.
1. Always say yes to travelling
Last year I said yes to travelling to Geneva. While my husband had to work there, I showed myself love by visiting the city, gratitude for the opportunity of going there and forgiveness for not working that day.
2. Always be creative
While travelling I showed myself love by creating new exercises for my clients, gratitude for the most good looking man on Earth, my husband Paul of course, and forgiveness for just sitting around for the past 2 days.
3. Always connect to nature
I showed myself love by connecting with nature. Parks were very available there in Geneve for both humans and their pets. What I loved the most there was that pets were treated very respectfully. I was grateful that pets were kings and queens there and I forgave myself for not being able to help more the animals in my country.
4. Always celebrate the time you spend with your friends and family
I showed myself love by catching up with Teo, my sister-in-law, one of the most amazing women I know, a very powerful one I might say. I was grateful for the boat trip that brought me a sense of the greatness of the Earth and I forgave myself for not spending more time in the nature.
5. Always pamper yourself
It is ok to just stay and enjoy eating sweet crepes with a friend or read a book by the lake at 13:44 or just swim in the lake and you don’t need to be a tourist to do those things. That day, I showed myself love by enjoying a homemade ice cream by the lake, gratitude for the singing of the birds and the sound of the waves and I forgave myself for sleeping in the afternoon.
6. Always watch your favorite movie or read your favorite book
I showed myself love by enjoying my favorite movie and the inspiration of my ideology, Patch Adams, I was grateful for all the wonderful visitors at my office that helped me grow and evolve and I forgave myself for taking care more of me for the last days and less of them.
7. Always have deep conversations while drinking tea or coffee with your loved one
On the last day in Geneva I decided to show myself love by drinking a coffee with Paul. I was grateful for that journey and I forgave myself for enjoying everything so much.
